Sounds vaguely like my APC uninterruptible power supply error when my backup
battery died.  If your not using UPS backup, I got a couple other suggestions.

I have never heard of this error, so I assume it could be a special feature of your server.
 Do you have a purpose built server that has built-in monitoring, as opposed to a beefed up desktop?
 NT does not monitor hardware health as a matter of course, messages appear in the Event
Log because a service is monitoring hardware health.  so by my rough
guess, you have some program, possibly from a proprietary  BIOS like Compaq
might use, or a device driver for a raid controller, which is loading and is watching
the state of a battery.  You should inventory your system and find out how
many components are storing values.  Likely candidates are NIC, SCSI adapter,
motherboard (of course) and high-speed modem.  Most of these use non-volatile
memory that does not require a battery, but you need to verify that for yourself.

needs reconditioning-please schedule. I've never come across this message
