If you are running Windows 95 or Windows 98,this is what you should do:

1 - Right Click my Computer
2 - Select properties
3 - Go to Device Manager
4 - Double click disc drives
5 - Double click the Zip Drive
6 - Select Settings
7 - Change Start Drive Letter to the letter you would like, the Last drive
letter will change as the same letter.
8 - Select OK
9 - Select CDROM
10 - Double click on your CD-ROM
11 - Select Settings
12 - Change Start Drive Letter to the letter you would like, the Last drive
letter will change as the same letter.
13 - Select OK
14 - Select OK
15 - Reboot the computer.

Good luck, and I hope this message helps you out.
