Hi Jacob

The only thing I can think of is youy might try contacting MS about your
situation. If you have a registered a copy of Windows 7 you might be able
to convince them to send you a new DVD. They will probably charge you for
the shipping, and a 10 dollar fee. I had the same problem but my dog got a
hold of it and chewed it up (True)! I did get a laugh out of the MS agent I
was talking to.

The other idea might be to turn to Ubuntu it's a flavor of Linux. But it
will have a learning curve!
