I have all ready done that. I uninstalled/reinstalled drivers. I replaced
the cable with a "AAA" cable.

I have found that the printer driver that came with Win98 works (it prints
slow), but the OEM does not. What is interesting is that when I originally
installed Win98 the OEM worked fine. It started happening when I replaced
the drum. In theory, the drum should have no effect on the document other
than the quality of print. This makes it strange.

Brother contends that the OEM is compatible with Win98.

For now I am going to use the Win98 driver, until I get more time to fool
around with it.

Sincerely,

Reinstall your print driver and/or check for a loose/bad printer cable.
