Hello readers...

I'm looking for input on the reliability of the ECS K7SOM mobo with the integrated Duron 1.2g processor. This would be a gut and replace venture from an Intel SB440 slot one mobo with the socket 370 adapter that uses a 400mb Celeron, which has proven to be quite a workhorse. So far, the only thing that has gone wrong is burned up fans! I'm just looking to upgrade a bit and install XP on a slave drive and set it all up in a dual boot configuration. I'm getting what I feel is a relatively good price on the mobo combo ($79.00) from a private dealer.

Any thoughts would be appreciated, and thanks in advance!
