The problem is not a conflict, it is that Windows95 does not contain
drivers for your IDE controller, (although they are included with
Windows98).  You can download the driver file on the ASUS web
site at:  http://www.asus.com/Products/Motherboard/driver_ide.html
It is the last drive file listed on the page.  SIDE121.ZIP   (640k)

Just download this file and then either unzip it to the computer's hard
drive or to a floppy disk.   Then, just run the setup program and it will
install your required motherboard drivers.  The PC will then reboot and
your driver issue should be solved.
