I've been hesitating to ask this question because I'm afraid it will involve
going into my registry. I cringe at even the thought. But here is my problem-
I use to run Scandisk in Dos about once a week.
About a month ago when I went to Start/Shutdown/Restart in MS Dos mode, just
like I always did. I entered Scandisk after the prompt pressed enter and the
cursor went to the next line and just sat there. It blinks but nothing happens
and Dos will not respond, I have to use the reset button on the hard drive to
restart the computer.

I tried it a couple of more times and it does the same thing.
I'm running Windows 98, 64MB of Ram, over 3GB of free space still on my HD.
Any ideas on what I can do to cure this???

Thanks
Linda
