Sounds like when you took out the old memory sticks you have dislodged
the graphics card, make sure that it is seated down well, if it as AGP
card there is a known design fault that the back end of the card slips
up easily when the back plate is being screwed into the case so just
make sure that you push it back into place if that is the problem

Subject: [PCBUILD] system not booting after trying to increase
memory(simms)

I wanted to increase memory on a pentium II 200 MHz pc from 32mb to
64mb, after taking out the old memory sticks the system is no more
booting. System continuously, gives two long beeps and never goes any
further. There is no video display at all. Either the new & old memory
gives the same long double beeps. Beeps continue even when memory is
taken out. Help please.
