Greetings all;

    My brother-in-law is receiving the error message "The modem is being
used by another DUN connection or another program. Disconnect other DUN
or close program and try again." The Windows Phone Dialer program will
not work either.
    There are no conflicts within Device Manager. We removed, and then
reinstalled the modem within Device Manager. The com port (2) is
disabled within CMOS settings. All programs were removed from Start Up
folder. Control-Alt-Delete reveals no programs that seem likely to cause
a problem. Everything else (mouse etc.) is working fine.
    This system was working perfectly until it was moved. Unfortunately,
this is being done long-distance and he is not hardware savvy enough to
remove componentry so I'm hoping that it is just something that I have
overlooked.. Thanks in advance for your replies.
