Just wondering if the BIOS has a function to enable or disable the secondary
port..
Maybe there'sn't available a secondary port on your mobo.

I've seen mobo that has silvery points for cache add-on and it is stated on
the manual that this mobo doesn't support cache add-on. Possibly, the mobo
had removed the cache add-on 'coz of technical reason or to cut cost. The
silvery points are just leftovers and serve no functions there.

Anyway... soldering ~40pins is a NO. Eventhough u have finally soldered the
wires *carefully* and the mobo does support secondary port (which is
unlikely).. a loose connection will corrupt your data in your hd, or the hd
won't get detected at all.

Best Regards,
