In Start Menu & Taskbar Properties (rightclick Start, select Properties, Taskbar tab), uncheck the box that says "Group similar taskbar items"

Subject: [PCBUILD] Minimizing in Win XP Home

Does anyone know if there is any way to change XP so that, instead of
putting things in a pull up menu when you minimize them, it just minimizes
them separately in the tray? In Win98SE, when I would minimize an email,
(or photo, or anything else), it would put them in the tray so that you
could see them seperately without having to click on anything. If you had
several minimized, each one would appear smaller, but you could just click
on the one you wanted and it opened. Now in XP, I have to click on the down
arrow to get a menu of the minimized emails, photos or whatever, and click
on one in a list. It's an extra step and makes it easier to lose track, so
I'd like to change it, if I could.
