hi,

I just purchased a HP CD-RW Drive, 9100 8x.  I can't seem to get to record more than 6 songs when it quits (from the hard drive).  Strangely, I could record an entire CD from a Zip disk.  I have the HP on the secondary channel as master with the hard drive and CD-ROM on the primary controller (master/slave respectively).  I don't have any programs running while recording.  The help files don't seem to have any answer.

The system is a Soltek motherboard with AMD K6-3 400 cpu and 128 meg ram.  Have never had problems with it before.

Anyone have other ideas on what to check/change?
