Actually, if you can retrieve the ME key code (it may be on a sticker on the
exterior of the case, or use a key retrieval tool like Magic Jellybean) you
can use any ME disk to reinstall. There may be one around you can borrow??
Another thing to check is that many technicians will copy the win9x folder
to the harddrive as a convenience (don't have to hunt down the CD every time
Windows needs to fetch an installation file). In any case, reinstallation
will not affect user documents and files, and in most cases, won't mess up
program installations.

But! If the only problem is missing drivers (what happened to them???), it
may be better to hunt down and update the individual drivers. Any
proprietary devices, like video cards, are likely not included with the ME
installation anyway. Any ME reinstalls are notoriously buggy. Does device
manager show yellow exclamation points? I see this issue with ME
occasionally when doing spyware/virus cleanups. I clean up the bugs first,
then tackle the drivers one at a time.
