Wow, Mary, sounds like you've gone a few rounds with this one. Anyway, I
wanted to add my two cents. Because one of the main selling points I offer
my customers is affordability, I will often go with lower-end boards to fit
within their budgets (but I ALWAYS make sure they are warrantied for at
least a year). However, when I have customers with no price objections, I
always use either Abit or Asus. I have never had a problem with either
board, though I have to admit going with Abit more often than not. This
would have to do with the fact that I am an obsessive overclocker, but
that's another story.

Most system builders I know will swear by Asus, though, and I will
whole-heartedly agree with them. I noticed a post earlier about problems
with their support, but I have never faced that issue. From long years of
working in customer service, though, I would suggest climbing the ladder if
you have those kinds of problems. This has two benefits. Number one, it
gets your problem solved. Number two, it lets them know that they have some
issues, and if enough people have to start talking to supervisors and
managers before getting issues resolved, they will work towards
re-evaluating those issues. HTH.

Kyle
