I saw a lot of motherboards with the same limitations.
It has to do with the general "class" or "family"
of the CPU.
The "crossover point" speed for an MMX chip in that
"class" of motherboards seems to be one step lower
than a chip with out it.
There sould be a big chart of jumper settings in
the motherboard manual for that EXACT chip.
