Subject: Problem with upgraded 486

Jim -
Here is a description of what we have done...

Took a Packard Bell 486sx33 (Legend 760) and added
an Evergreen pentium upgrade chip so that it is now
recognized as a pentium 133mhz processor.  Also
added 16mb ram to increase it to 20mb.

System intermittently will lose the display...
sometimes on boot-up as windows 3.1 is starting
up and sometimes when the mouse is used to click
on an object.  It seems to happen consistently when
the user clicks on the window option in the windows
3.1 menu.  The monitor either turns white or displays
a pattern of diagonal lines.  At that point, the only way
to refresh the system is to reboot.
