It used to be that I would see many things in the updates that I didn't need or
want, but lately they've all been security updates, so I have been afraid to go
without them. I always check each item to make sure I want it, but I have taken all
the updates for a couple of years with no problems and nothing really unecessary. I
have Win98SE, however, and maybe they don't offer as much in the updates because
it's so old.

Is it a good idea to keep critical update on all the time or after a week
select what u actually need. As someone told me automatic updates puts many
things which u can do without. Plz advise
