Has anyone ever seen a Intel 233MMX report itself as a 133MMX? I
have tried the chip in two different systems and they both show it as a
133 MMX in the boot sequence. The chip is in a Biostar motherboard and
is about 10 months old. I have put a P200MMX in the same motherboard
and it reports it as a P200MMX so I think the motherboard is fine. The
system I took the P200MMX out of reports the 233MMX as a 133MMX. Also
the markings on the CPU indicate that it is in fact an Intel 233 MMX.
Any thoughts?
