Hi,

I believe you may have disabled your advanced power management in the
BIOS

Check the advanced settings and make sure it is turned on or enabled

Thanks and have a Great Day!

Subject: [PCBUILD] shutdown doesn't turn off

My daughters computer, a 600meghz Celeron, Win98SE, is up to date on
everything. When you shutdown the computer it would shut it down
completely, through the start, shutdown, shutdown. Now for some reason
when you try to shutdown it stops at a screen that says (it is now safe
to shutdown your computer.) Can anyone help me to put it back the way it
was. Gary Aguiar
