>You haven't indicated the type of cable you are using.You should be using
a crosssover cable unless you are connecting through a hub.
Suggest you ensure Client for Microsoft networks is installed and the
Netbui protocol and take out anything else you don't need.
Look at your procedure for logging onto the network. If you don't log on
properly you won't see the other computers and they won't see you.
