I've had a bad experience with Adaptec and OEM software.
They don't support it and don't want to hear anything about it.
I had OEM software that needed to be patched or it would not
install. Except it had to be installed to be patched...
They told me to buy NEW FULL VERSIONS direct from them.
After I did that, and complained about bugs in the full version
they did  not want to hear anything about that either...
I'd say they "got me" twice...
