I am new to the "home network" scene, so forgive me if this is a "no
brainer." I have my PC and my wife's laptop networked. We can share files
and my internet connect (using Sygate) with no problem, however, when she
tries to use my printer (Epson Stylus 800), the print queue comers up, but
then she get a message saying that the printer is not installed on MY
system. I have made sure that the printer is set up as a shared printer on
my box, and she can SEE my printer with no problem; She just can't print. I
have TCP/IP, NetBUIE, and IPX protocols installed on both machines. Our NIC
cards installed these protocols automatically upon installation. I am
unsure what protocol is actually being used. We are both using 10/100 cards
and a crossover CAT 5 cable. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
