Subject:  Cheap backups

I bought a 100 gb Seagate HD for $30 after rebates.  It came with software 
that copied my HD giving an exact copy on the new drive.  The extra cost is 
the effort in swapping the HD's.  Is there anything wrong with this as a 
backup procedure?
