I've been looking at TVs and monitors to go with my most recent build.
I'm running xp pro sp3 with pentium quad core, 8gig ram and a
Creative/Audigy 7.1 sound system. The video card is a basic 512mb pcie
that I will have to upgrade to match my needs.

My main uses for this pc is gaming and dvd/blueray movie viewing as
well as some video editing and authoring. Also considering the
possibility of adding a capture card for recording from my satellite
TV box.

When looking at TVs, it seems the response time is determined by the
screen refresh rate in Hz while the monitors are showing response time
in ms (or am I confusing terms?).

The monitors I'm considering are an ASUS 24" or a couple varieties of
BenQ all with 2ms response time and HDMI, DVI and VGA connections
available and all in the $200.00 range
The TVs I'm seeing also offer HDMI, and VGA connects, 1080p and 24" to
32" in the same price range.

Any opinions on the pros and cons of each?

Thanks,
-Phil-
