I currently have a small home network based on a PhoneLink system that has
stopped working reliably. I want to change it and was assuming I would go
wireless (Ethernet is out of the question due to the cabling requirements,
etc.).

But then there are the PowerLine options (networking via the house's
electrical system). When last I read about these they were not so reliable,
but like all technology, improvements have undoubtedly been made.

My question: does anyone have hands-on, real-life experience using PowerLine
vs. Wi-Fi in their home networks, and can anyone give me practical advice,
caveats or whatever to help make the decision.

With kind thanks,

Michael
