Raymond,
XP is backwards compatible with FAT32 and FAT16 drives. As long as the
drives are hooked up and configured correctly (BIOS settings etc) , you
shouldn't have any problem. I'd hook them up after you get XP up and
running on a new drive so there's no mistaking which drive XP is being
installed on. Add the FAT drives after things are working smoothly.
