Hi Gordon

The file that you want to edit is C:\BOOT.INI, not win.ini.

Boot.ini contains all the information that Windows shows in
its boot menu. If you went to the "Startup and Recovery"
applet and made selections there, the changes were stored
for you in the boot.ini file.
