What chip do you think you have in your PC?
On modern pentium motherboards when your computer is first turned on it
should post the speed the chip is running at  during post like this
...........Pentium 166MMX at 166 MHz
or.........................................Cyrix 686L 686 at 150 MHz
If you have a Pentium 150 at 150 MHz and you see Pentium 166 CPU at 166 MHz
at post then you have a overclocked chip but it the banner shows the chip
and the speed correctly then you do not have a overclocked chip.
