You will need a socket adapter to conform to the European standard a-c
outlets. However, and possibly more importantly, you may also need a
frequency converter that will change the European standard of 50 Hertz to 60
Hertz. As I recall and unless drastic changes were made in recent years,
most of Europe was operating with a standard of 50 Hertz.
While many pieces of electrical equipment are designed to operate with
either 50 or 60 Hertz, I strongly recommend that you check your
documentation and, if necessary, your manufacturer, to ascertain that your
transformer was designed to handle both 50 and 60 Hertz.
