Does the power light come on? If not, the power supply may have gone bad and
probably needs to be replaced. You might also try and check the power cord
and its connection from the pc to the wall outlet. It may have come loose or
something. If the power does work, but the system will not intialize it may
be your video card. Try reseating it, if it still does not work, your video
card may be malfunctioning. Any number of things can cause a computer to not
start. You just have to troublshoot each component until you find the
problem. Check the AC from your wall outlet, the power supply, motherboard,
processor, and the hard drive. I am sure one of those is the cause of your
problem.

Subject: [PCBUILD] Computer Promblems

Hey guys, I was wondering if someone could help me out with a promblem that
I am having with my desktop PC. When I push the power button all I get is a
blank screen with no HDD activity and no video the only thing that pops up
on the screen is no video input. The only thing that I can think of is the
motherboard or cpu is bad. If this is the promblem then how would I go
about testing either components? Any help would be greatful. Brett
