I got a new computer about a month ago and have transferred most of my
data and apps to it.

My old computer has its original 10 gig IDE and an additional upgraded
80 gig IDE drive. My system files are on the 10 gig and some programs
and data on the 80 gig.

Does anyone know what the best way is to combine these 2 drives so that
the 10 gig will be freed up - I want to be able to boot from both
drives?

I want to throw everything onto the large drive where there is plenty of
space and be able to boot from it until I am absolutely sure that I
don't need to refer to it anymore. This 80 gig will eventually be
removed, reformatted and added to my new computer.

My goal is to restore the old computer with the 10 gig to its original
state - since I will be giving it to someone who does not need anymore
capacity than this - while preserving everything that is currently
loaded on both drives.

I have a restore CD and PartitionMagic 8.0.

Thanks for any help,

Jeff Calvert
