I've had good success with Xerox inkjet printers.  I really like their
multifunction devices-printer, scanner, fax, copier...

Furthermore, they use the same ink cartridges accross multiple lines of
printers.  The same cartridges I bought for my first Xerox WorkCenter works
with their new ink jets and new WorkCenters and HomeCentres.

They also have 24x7 toll free support and overnight a new or refurb unit if
they can't solve it over the phone.

I've acquired 4 or 5 for myself, business and friends over the past three
years.
