Hi, I've had wonderful success with the IBM Ultra 66 line. However, you
should get a
mobo with a Ultra 66 compatible controller - some include the 80pin HDD
cable. The Tyan
S1590S has worked out, but you will still have some issues withe the VIA
chipset.
I hope your not considering the Gigabyte 5AA or 5AX with the ALI chipset.
I've been having
trouble with fierce instability on 2 in the field. Unfortunately, many of
the ASUS Super 7 mobo's
are ALI chipset as well. Hopefully, someone else has had much better
success.
