Hi Bill

First a BEWARE!

According to <http://www.spacewalker.com/english/cpulistb.htm>,
the Shuttle HOT 591 DOES NOT SUPPORT the K6 II 300.
And, in my opinion, it could not be made to do so because this
motherboard does not support the 100 MHz bus speed.

However, the newer Shuttle HOT 591P *does* support the K6 II 300.
But you would probably need to purchase new memory (PC100 SDRAM)
to run this motherboard at the 100 MHz bus speed used by the
K6 II 300. See the link to Anand's review of this board below.
Be absolutely sure that you get a 591P if you go with the "Sale"
you mentioned. However, the HOT 591P should cost less than $100
and the K6 II 300 should cost less than $140, so the above sale
price is not a really great deal anyway.

The HOT 591 and 591P are baby AT motherboards and would likely
fit in your present case. These motherboards will work with
*either* AT or ATX power supplies, which is nice.
