    Yes, not only can it be done safely...it can be done
effectively....depending on the bus speed you run. Obviously 66mhz will pose
no problem, either will 75mhz, 100mhz will run depending on quality of the
ram. I have read of more success than failure using PC66 ram at
100mhz....The moral is: it should work but most of all its harmless, the
only effect is windows crashes, not hardware.
