Epson makes an excellent line of large-format scanners at very reasonable
prices (comparatively speaking).  Check www.epson.com for details and of
course www.pricewatch.com for the best deal.  Of course, if he has the cash,
a Linotype, high-end Agfa, or basically any drum scanner would be better,
but expect to spend multi-thousands for any of those...for the budget
conscience, Epson is the way to go...
