get

When you installed NT you should have been given the opportunity to
create 3 setup disks. (These are what you boot from.)
method 1) If you want to get NT off of your machine, launch setup again.
At the point where setup prompts you for the location where you would
like to install the system files, choose to format the drive using FAT;
format it; and then cancel setup. This is not a very elegant way to
uninstall NT, but it is effective.
method 2)If you have a Win9x startup disk and the NT system/boot files
are on a FAT partition, you can boot from the Win9x floppy and
FDISK/FORMAT the partition from it.
method 3) You can also install Win9x on the same machine (in effect
creating what is called a dual-boot configuration) given that you have
the drivespace.
Once this is done, choose at boot to enter Win9x. Upon load completely
delete all files and folders from Winnt (a folder on root-C). Create a
startup disk in Win9x. Boot from this floppy, and FDISK/FORMAT the
drive(s). Reinstall Win9x. Done.
