You might want to investigate Direct PC.   It is a system where you
can download via satellite dish and upload via your cellular connection.
    http://www.direcpc.com/  The Direct PC connection usually is inexpensive
on a monthly basis, after you have paid for the hardware.   The nice thing
about it is you can also add a satellite tv through the same hardware,
(which maybe important in a rural environment.

There are also microwave connections, depending upon just how rural
you mean to be and the limits of line of sight.  The best thing to do is
investigate what is available in your destination locale.
     http://www.usurf.com   USURF America is real big in the microwave
feed connections.   It will give you a starting place for this sort of
connection.  Typically, microwave feeds are rather expensive at about
$100 a month.
