I have a client that would like to have internet access in the field.
He'd also like to be able to upload photos taken w/ a digital camera -
again while in the field - and transmit them via the internet. This
would, of course, require use of a mobile phone that could connect to
the computer as well as digital camera media that can be
connected/loaded into the computer (or the ability to connect a camera
directly to the computer). What are some critical features that one
should be concerned w/ when selecting a laptop w/ these uses in mind?
Are there some pitfalls of in-field internet access that I should be
aware of when researching these devices and an appropriate computer? Is
the technology really "there" for stable wireless computer link-ups?
Does the ISP selection come into play here as well?

TIA
