Hi all,

I've been flummoxed by this for months

686 k2300 Mobo
Soundblaster Card
4Mb VGA card
Optical mouse
Windows 95b

Every now and then the computer freezes, mouse seems stuck with full screen
and has to be reset.

It is warm tonight ( Southern Hemisphere Summer) but seems to be random
stops with no real cause. Tried reseating memory, connectors, changed mouse
drivers and even lifted out the processor several nights ago and cleaned a
bit of the label against the contact pins to see if there was tracking.

Possible solutions please... I have been reluctant up till now but I seem
to have
run out of ideas..

BTW  Merry Xmas and thanks to all possibe helps through the year for
different problems for my students, that you have all contributed to...
