USB question:

I will switching a printer (HP5550) from LPT1: use to USB 2.0 soon.  The is a newly built computer running XP Pro.  I understand the OS will recognize the new USB connection, but do I need to "uninstall" the printer first on the control panel?

As an aside how do I know my system is running USB 2.0 rather than 1.1?

Q2.  When I run Norton Win Doctor it reports an error saying a program "DotNetInstaller.exe" can not find a file  mscoree.dll.   I have not set up a network yet on this computer but will do so in the near future.  Will I have a problem?  I'm assuming DotNetInstaller has to do with the networking functions.
