Thats's alot like asking " What kind of car do you thinks the best?"
What are the systems tasks and much you got to spend. Are you a AMD or an
INTEL kind a guy?
Do you need RAID on board or want DDD instead or PC133 in the way of mem
slots. Are you a gamer or
building a business system.

In the AMD I would recomend

MSI  K7T266Pro2 -RU or the KT333 Ultra-ARU one takes the 333DDR and the
other 266DDR
both has the  Promise RAID that can be not used at all or used as extra IDE
or can be used as a RAID.
Drop in  a XP 2100 chip and a good Video Card and you will blow the doors
off any thing in comparison.
