XP Home edition showing 2 choices on boot

Hello

My friends windows XP Home edition PC is showing 2 options on boot up:

First is: Run Windows XP (or words to that effect)
Second is: Install windows XP

He recently installed XP and has had the message ever since ... but it works
fine

How can we stop it doing that and boot into windows as per normal (without
the choice)?
