Hi,
I'm using a PCCHIPS m585lmr socket 7 motherboard with an AMD K6-2 400 MHz CPU with AWARD bios. When I turn on the power, It seems like the bios is reporting a failure
with a constant beep no beep pattern for an error code which I can not seem to find any documentation on. When I press the reset switch, the error goes away and the system boots and operates fine. I have already replaced the motherboard with the same make and model number and seem to have the same problem. I have also replaced the power supply with no results. Can any one suggest what the problem may be. Thanks
