    Quite frankly, if you HD is developing bad sectors it is not a good sign
and a low level format will NOT fix the problem. I recommend you backup that
drive immediately, and if it continues to develop more and more bad sectors
have it replaced. I see of no good reason, these days, for low level
formating a hard drive. TTYL
