Peter---

As hibernation simply places whatever is already running into memory, I 
doubt you can do exactly what you want.

There might be a workaround, though I've never tried it.  If you could 
identify which file executes the hibernation command (maybe hiberfil.sys in 
root folder has something to do with it) you might be able to write a 
simple batch file which will first open your desired program, then execute 
the hibernation command.

In other words, you'd have to open your prog immediately before executing 
hibernation. Just make sure that it's not one with dodgy drivers, or it 
will mess up your hibernation function for sure.

Let us know if you ever figure it out.  Maybe someone's written a utility 
for it, but I've never heard of one.
