Delete and re-install the sound card drivers. Any information system
properties to indicate problems.

  While on the computer today I lost all sounds . The CD plays fine . I
just
can't get anything else to play without getting this message " Cannot
play
back the audio stream : no audio hardware is available , or the
hardware is
not responding Error = 80040256 "
  I'm not sure where to start looking for the problem . It's a 233MHz
MMX on
a AN430TX Intel MB ,  Yamaha OPL3-SA sound card ? Win95 OS .
