Best thing I ever did!!! The warning signals
I started getting with one of these caused
the power company TO FIND a burned and arcing
wire (connection) on a pole near my house!!!
There were no other electrical symptoms.
(The computer was a little flakey, THEN.)
The UPS seemed to have been damaged and they
replaced it.
I have been using APC BackUPS400(s) and was getting
runtimes of 22 minutes (when NEW) on a Dell 486-66
mid size desktop system with a 14 in mon.
I just saw an APC500 for $119 at BJ's
