I have done all that and that part is ok what I need is a decent sharing device for more than 4 PC's. I had a 4in1 and on one of the ports I had a 2in1. So I could share all 5 PCs. I had picked up a generic 8in1 but it didn't work very well at all. So I was looking for a single print sharing device. That would do it since the generic flubbed so badly. I know that many of us come across situations where we use more than four computers to a printer without it being a network printer but this is the situation. I am in. The properitary software is issued with the computer, so it can't be moved on to a single computer not only that, he likes having the 10 different moniters going each with a different display. Also The software on some of the machines is designed to not allow for networking and goes ballistic if you try to add another network card. I have talk to the software reps, this happens to be they way they protect the aggrement. That way their stuff doesn't end up in a whole office with only one person paying for it. So I am stuck with needing a sharing device.
