Hi,

The more information given initially, the more information you will get
back to help you quicker!.

Would this of been an AMD socket 7 350+ (100mhz) bus CPU by chance?  You
failed to tell us what he was running fro a CPU.  If so, they had a timing
problem with Win 95 and needed a patch to operate correctly.  The patch was
on the AMD web site.

A way around it was to lower the board speed to 333, do the install, add
the patch, and then set it for the correct speed afterwards.  Or upgrade to
win 98 which had that timing problem fixed.
